There were a lot of young people living there since the property recently sold and now there are even more moving in. What's happening with this ? This is a single family neighbourhood, how is this being allowed ? Looks more like a college dormitory. We don't want this in our neighbourhood.
Thank you, but would be informative to know what the topic of discussion with the owner will be ? Would appreciate updates. I see the issue has been closed but nothing has changed , can we expect it to change in the near future ? Would appreciate updates so for that reason I will be ticking the area to reopen the issue in order to hopefully receive updates.
We are presently in discussion with the owner regarding possible zoning and building code concerns. Due to the Freedom of Information and Privacy Act, details of correspondence are prohibited. No further updates will be provided until the file is closed.
There has recently been someone ( fellow ) with a van ( multi colour character painting design ) move in and since he's been there he's been pulling u turns on our recently lawn, ( some of it recently re-seeded now has big muddy tracks in it ) I just saw that he is definitely the culprit this morning but was unable to flag him down . We've noticed this happening for a week or more but weren't sure which of the several coming/going vehicles was responsible. If you could give me contact info for the owner of the home I will be contacting them. This is EXACTLY why we don't want a FRAT house in our R1 single family neighbourhood !!!
If you happen to observe/experience moving violations (vehicles) during the hours of 08:30 to 16:30 please contact Bylaw Services, after these hours contact RCMP.
I will take a drive out today and have a look for the van.
Notice that the first complaint on this multi unrelated residents "staff " house in a R1 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE was lodged on 05/30/2017. Since then there are many complaints regarding the zoning , the parking, the noise, the non maintenance of yard ( grass not mown ALL spring/summer ) . Vehicle blocking the road as well as impeding snow removal reported a couple of times recently , and still nothing has changed. The home appears on one of the real estate sites but with seemingly little or no enforcement ( none apparent to neighbourhood anyway ) what would motivate the owner of the property to accept a reasonable offer or return this to a single family dwelling when still receiving rent from multiple residents ? Thought this was a complaint based system?
