We at 9555 Commodore have put in 2 SeeClickFix requests to fix the flooding issues from the ponds behind our house in the past year, but so far nothing has been done. We've had water in the house 4 times since 2004 because the pipes connecting the 2 ponds and the final exit from the pond going under Commodore Dr are undersized (and the top of the exit drain at the end is clogged with debris). We put in an expensive drainage system in our back and side yards last fall which is similar to the one our neighbor put in a few years before, but it still won't be adequate to handle a really big rain. We've had two 13" rain events since 2012. A hurricane could give us much more than that. Our homes shouldn't be part of the county drainage system. Please fix.
