It baffle's my mind how the City of Yellowknife has allowed NWT Construction to close off and tear up the busiest road in Yellowknife and there is no work being done. I am very angry that this is allowed. The road was closed off late last week and in one day the pavement was removed, a couple of days past, NOTHING! A couple of days later, there is a hole in the ground where the MAJOR road once was, now it is another GHOST TOWN!!!!!! How is this allowed? We go months in Yellowknife in other various parts of the city where roads are closed off and there is nothing being done, it takes a massive amount of time to complete these jobs that should otherwise take a couple of weeks, no, they take the whole summer! This is OUR YELLOWKNIFE.
