Over the past year, a gentleman that lives on Salem Street, who is a truck driver, has been parking his tractor-trailer at the entrance to the high school on Salem Street. Needless to say it is noisy and recently it has been a tanker trailer of unknown contents. I Have approached the police department who said it was on school property, but they would check it out anyway. Well, this morning at 4:30, I was awaken by this rig starting up and idling. The school has not replied. This rig should not be here for several reason, public nuisance, noise, possible dangerous cargo, etc. Can we get this thing out of our neighborhood. In the middle of homes and apartments. What about the school ? The safety of the kids ? Something needs to be done other than a lot of lip service !
