Hey City of Oakland. I think people keep reporting on this because you don't appear to be doing anything about it. This illegal encampment has been here for many months and it keeps growing. Since you acknowledge its existence, please do something about it. When did it become okay for us to use these public spaces for our private purposes? Why is the City of Oakland normalizing this behavior?

Nothing has been done with this stuff being stored. No one lives here. I saw someone come in a red zip car and rummage through the stuff then leave in the Zipcar. Please clean up this junk!!

There are over 11 reports here on SCF requesting to have this issue dealt with. No one lives here. It is just stored junk. Please deal with this!!

There are cars that pull up and add more debris. This is unacceptable.

It looks like they are now just putting more tarps over all of this garbage as the "tarped" pile is more than twice as big as before. I applaud the Oakland Public Works and Waste Management for disposing of the majority of the uncovered trash pile, but we now need help as the new strategy seems to be to just "tarp" all of this garbage...please help and remove these "tarped" piles as well.

It was not removed, it was juts moved over to the mural where it is now damaging the artwork.
