Description
I noticed recently at the Chuck Reiter Ball field, that the two trash receptacles outside the public restrooms have been knocked over. These containers are stand alone receptacles and are not surrounded by the slat wood container as are the other trash receptacles at this location. Over the past two weeks I have observed coyotes in the Ball field area and that they are probably feeding on the contents of these and other containers. I don't believe the residents in the area are not part of the problem, but it would be a start if the city maintained properties had in place a program to prevent feeding stations for unwanted animals.
