Description

People going South on 306 are using Dartmoor road as an alternate and are speeding through here at high rates of speed blowing through the stop sign at Crossfield.

We have a lot of little kids that live along this street. In the morning waiting for the bus we have cars blowing through intersections.

The traffic this morning on Dartmoor was so heavy I thought 306 was closed. How much time does it really save for everyone to use the main roads. Is saving 1 minute on your commute really worth a childs life as well as the peacefullness of teh neighborhood. Please be considerate of my home as I would be of yours.

The residents of Dartmoor thank you for pointing out to those who weren't aware that Dartmoor could be used as a cut through. Your public service announcement to ask people not to use Dartmoor now invites more people to use it as an alternate to SR 306 during the construction detours.

I agree that people use Dartmoor as a cut through and never do the speed limit, including those that live on the street. It should also be brought up that there are also several kids and adults on the street that are using the street for recreational purposes which cause an increased risk to the neighboorhood.

may be if the state ever decides to widen 306 from Mentor Ave to Ridge Road, then you wont have to worry about traffic on your side street. Contact the City and ODOT and petition to get the ball rolling..we all hate a 4 lane road that changes to 2 lanes and back to 4. its a major bottleneck.

I SO HAPPY THAT SOMEONE BROUGHT THIS UP.IT'S A BIG PROBLEM ON DARTMOOR AND CROSSFIELD.SO MANY KIDS AROUND HERE .
SPEEDING AND NOT STOPPING AT STOP SIGN.
VERY BAD FROM 7AM TO 9AM AND 5PM TO 7 PM
ALSO LATE NIGHT AND WEEK ENDS.THANKS TG
ANYTHING I CAN DO TO HELP THE CAUSE IAM IN.
