Plus there's been broken auto glass on the street for at least 2 weeks (Earth to Street Cleaners!) on north side of 30th, above MLK near overpass ; piles of trash in various groupings along sidewalk under f-way ; plus, like jgchemie reported: there's a growing number of giant yurt-sized tent blocking the sidewalk.

Besides the illegal dumping 8.11.100 There are breaking numerous Muni Codes with the City's blessing. 9.08.160 - Sitting or lying on a street or sidewalk. 9.08.170 - Obstructing pedestrians. 9.08.180 Alcoholic beverages on public streets, Sec A. 9.08.190 - Open alcoholic beverage containers. The city workers need to go back to broom school in dealing with broken glass on the streets and sidewalks. Pathetic and embarrassing.

The city does not care. Full stop. As long as this doesn't impact the residents of Rockridge/Temescal/Crocker Highlands, nothing will be done. I can't believe Oakland cares so little about its residents but they've proven over and over that's the case. Our best hope is to vote every single one of them out.
