Description

The alley between 37th Street South and 38th Street South is in need of fill and blading. Since it is all dirt and gravel, it is the city garbage truck that starts and stops to pick up the 4 containers at the rear of the homes. When the alley is wet, the garbage trucks take with it on its large tires the gravel and mud creating a 3" drop just prior to the roadway at 37th Street South. ALSO; I have noticed that the very same garbage truck picks up the containers on 8th Avenue South from the front of the homes that don't use the alley way. Would it not make more sense to save time and fuel if the garbage truck just picked up all the containers on the paved 8th Avenue South?
