I called and also sent 2 emails advising that the address on this issue was incorrect. For the 4th time, the issue is the property known as Wierkowski Lot in the Lawyers Hill area of Elkridge. You people had a storm management system installed which has caused trees to die and the pond overflows all the time onto my property...AREA IS NOT AT ALL MAINTAINED! Vines are climbing and killing trees. Excavation for the collection pond has caused the death of a 100' tree. This mess is just to the rear of my property...6200 Latchlift Ct

Thank you for reporting your Stormwater Pond Maintenance issue to Howard County Stormwater Management. The stormwater management facility and the dead trees are located on Open Space Lot 2 (Tax ID#1401251848), which is privately owned by the Wierkowski HOA. Therefore, it is not the responsibility of the County to address the trees and is a private issue between property owners. The issue will be closed in Tell HoCo.

OK. I will take it up with county executive office. Your storm management pond overflows...is that a problem between property owners?? The construction of the ponds caused the trees to die...do property owners bear the responsibility / negligence of others? Close this if you wish but remember my name!
