Same tributary of Peavine Creek on north side of West Ponce. The developments in downtown Decatur are not maintaining adequate run-off control measures.
Thank you for the information.
I met with all three contractors during the rain event. They all were actively working to improve their sites due to the large rain event.
Thank you again for the information.
Appreciate your attention to this matter. I believe there are four possible contributors to the problem: the Callaway project, the high school project, the street project in front of the high school, the new hotel project. Please make sure to check all of their stormwater protection measures.
And one question: The heavy soil run-off into the stream has occurred more than once; when does the city fine the contractors involved rather than merely giving them five days to correct the problem?
Stan, yesterday there were two water line breaks on N. McDonough Street which DeKalb County responded and completed the repairs at midnight.
The construction sites on W. Trinity Place and Commerce Drive that I inspect were in compliance.
Stan, feel free to contact me on my city cell to discuss any further questions you may have regarding the tributary and enforcement.
Thanks
