when turning off of 6th onto high street, you cannot see oncoming traffic from the south because there is always two maxi vans parked infront of the apartments there. it needs to be compact car parking only!

I agree to a point.
Yes it does cause a hazard to some people coming off sixth st. But there are signs in front of the apartments. And as far as i have seen the owners of the said vans have been quite good about parking in the right spaces.
It is WELL marked on the building for the first two spaces. and i havent seen them not parking there in those spots. Yes they could park in the back parking lot.
But its a very narrow area for those vans to get through. IT was designed before we had conversion vans. and maneuvering a van in the back lot could get interesting in the confined space.
Im not for or against the said owners of the vehicles, but they do have a right to own them. Unless the town could implement ONE simple STOP sign on northbound high and sixth, we could all get along and not have to worry about the van owners. Plus a stop sign on northbound High and sixth could generate more business for the new dollar store that just opened up. I'm just a sensible neighbor with a sound mind for reason and logic. just my two cents.
