I have wondered why the heck that stop sign is there forever as well. I can't think of any reasonable reason it should be there and find it to be a nuisance as well. If this can't be removed could someone with the city please post the reasoning as to why not on this post?

At this point I've sent a couple follow up emails that went without a response. I'd encourage you (dwaxon) to email the address in the original Public Works post. I'll send one more follow up email, then I'm done wasting time on an unresponsive public works department.
