Description

The small step up coming off the crosswalk between Town & Country Market and the Christian Science Reading Room is dangerous. Citizen reported falling and twisting her ankle (she is in a boot). She wants to assure the City that she is not filing a claim. However, even though the small step up is clearly marked with yellow indicating a hazard, it is easy to miss and something should be done to simply even it out (particularly considering it is such a small step). She stated she is 55 and can imagine an older person having a serious fall. The citizen stated she would not have raised the issue but the clinic emergency care doctor confessed she too had tripped not a week prior. She believes tripping is more than a one-off occurrence.
