Meter machines not functional. I visited two different machines on 6/26 around 10:30am (one right in front of meter 1472, and one right around the corner west on Ann St.) and tried both credit card and coins, and wasn't able to get them to work. With two small children getting antsy, I gave up after about 15 mins of fiddling with them. Ended up with a parking ticket. I am a reasonably tech savvy person, and it seems unlikely that it was user error. This needs to be addressed, otherwise it looks an awful lot like there are faulty machines in place to force people into parking violations. Emily Schwartz, emilyschwartzrd@gmail.com
