Opis
A gun was supposedly tossed in that area during a Police pursuit. The Police couldn't locate it initially, due to fading light. They only sent two officers to look for it the next day. I watched the officers spend little time looking for it. They decided that the gun was probably in a fenced off lot, which "is a Public Works issue."
The Police need to do a more thorough search because this is a grave public safety issue.

FYI Dave, the gun was tossed after a chase that started on the highway in Milford.
Ben, absolutely the neighborhood could try to locate the weapon, except that the gun was probably tossed into a privately owned lot that's fenced off. I should mention, not that it matters, but the only people that DO pass through there are neighborhood kids that slip through a hole in the fence.
I'm realistic. They may not be able to find the gun, but they certainly won't find it if they don't try.
