We are aware of it. We know it's a problem. That property may be sold soon and we can then enforce the parking problem.

I have seen truckers in Hammond City Court since this complaint for parking tickets. The private security guard is aware to inform the police of illegal parking. If this new ownership goes thru, which I believe it has but do NOT quote me, then things should get better in 2018. The City does not like seeing vacant properties. We appreciate your patience thru this sale process.

UPDATE ON JANUARY 24th, 2018: I have seen truckers in Hammond City Court for parking tickets since this 311 complaint. The private security guard is aware to inform the police of illegal parking; not sure if he still works the parking lot because: The property did sell in November 2017 to a "Woodmar Plaza, LLC." I will do some research and try to get in contact with someone ASAP. The City does not like seeing vacant properties unattended to. We appreciate your patience thru this property's entire sale process.
