This bump was reported by me a few years ago. I mentioned that it may have caused my wheel bearing to go on the vehicle that I had at the time. I have gotten a new vehicle since then and I have another bad wheel bearing. Some have suggested that I take a different route to/from work, but I shouldn't have to. If there's a street in the city of Syracuse, it should be navigable without causing damage to vehicles. I literally have begun slowing down to 5mph in order to minimize further damage to my vehicle, although it's still a fairly significant jolt. I plan to send my bearing replacement bill to the city.
