I would suggest that you call and email: Doug Hausledan, Dir. Traffic & Parking (203-946-8075, dhausledan@newhavenct.net). When you email, also copy your Alderperson and a phone call to your LCI specialist to help you with your request wouldn't hurt either. It would help if you would send a picture of your driveway and any images you might catch of cars obstructing your driveway. If he is not available when you call, ask to leave a voicemail. Follow-up in a week of your phone call. Street signs may not be on the top of their priority list ... unless you make it so. So stay on top of it. I got mine within 3 weeks.
Good morning Mr. Porto,
I don't have good news; however, I do have honest news. It appears nobody at our Transportation, Traffic & Parking Department has seen this SeeClickFix request. When our TT&P Department sees a request via this platform, they usually post the following information:
"ACKNOWLEDGED Transportation, Traffic & Parking Department - Manager of Operations, Process Improvement (Verified Official)"
Your request was posted 17 months ago. It usually takes no more than a few days for TT&P to acknowledge requests. You might want to contact TT&P directly. If you choose to do so, please be aware, the email address supplied by Hill Resident on 07/05/2017 is incorrect. The correct email address to the Director of TT&P, Mr. Douglas Hausladen is dhausladen@newhavenct.gov
Mr. Hausladen is a very busy person. You might get faster results if you contact one of his employees. His Executive Administrative Assistant used to be Ms. Joanne Choma, but that position is now vacant. There must be someone answering calls to her desk. The phone number is 203-946-8078.
Here is the contact information for several other bigwigs within TT&P who might be able to help you.
My last comment was blocked because it was too long. Here is a shorter version.
