All illegal dumping is NOT going to stop until there's a City Policy so that our Police can bear enforcement. Presently the illegal dumpers know that they can dump with impunity. All OPW is doing is cleaning from one hot spot to another. It's my belief that the Oakland residents are paying for this clean-up which is the reason why Waste Management has raise their rates super high for each of the last three years.

Currently waste management is picking the bulk of the illegal dumping and the the city trash cans. Oakland seams to have a zero enforcement policy by OPD. Its all civil at this point. Oh yes the dump rates are way up!!!!
