Pinellas County Public Works - Traffic Management assigned this issue to Pinellas County Public Works - Traffic Engineering

Per the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), this segment of 37th St N is functional classified as a " Major Collector" roadway. Per our Residential Traffic Management (RTM) program, Major Collector roadways cannot be considered for traffic calming devices. Unfortunately, the program does not allow us to install speed humps or stop signs on 37th St N to aid in slowing traffic. I will however, share your concerns with speeding with the Pinellas County Sheriff's office, and ask that they perform some directed patrols along that road segment. I can also offer to deploy our SMARTrailer , or radar speed feedback trailer, to this segment of 37th St N if that is something that you'd be interested in.
