Community Development will assign an inspector to check the property for violations of the City’s Grass and Weed ordinance. This ordinance only requires the cutting of grass or weeds over 8 inches in height and consume an abundance of the yard. We cannot require the trimming of trees, bushes, shrubs, bamboo, ornamentals, ivy, poison ivy, oak or sumac nor can we require the curb/gutters to be trimmed or vines be removed from the structure. Community Development’s Inspector has checked this property and will be notifying the owner(s) / occupant(s) that they are in violation of the City's Grass and Weed Ordinance, Fence Ordinance, and also the Junk, Litter, and Inoperable Vehicle Ordinance.
