Looking at the old report, the request by the renter was made to STOP working on the sidewalk so that sprinklers could be repaired (6/21/17). The sprinkler work was completed 7/8 (per the note to close the work order). We also had constant rain during that time. I think instead of opening several different tickets on here for the same sidewalk work at 15 Atherton, the renter should just comment on the original work order. The city is being pulled in several directions on this one job.

I am the owner of 15 Atherton Circle, not the renter. I opened the report about the sprinklers and they were repaired and I made the city aware that I felt they were properly repaired and requested to close that issue since it was a different issue. The city closed that issue. Yes, this is a different issue with the same job. Meanwhile, there are reports on this site that have been submitted (weeks and months ago) that have not even been acknowledged nor have some of the comments been acknowledged from myself and others so it seems necessary to file more than one report for the same job if it's a different issue because some comments and reports are not being acknowledged. I also never requested that this sidewalk handicap access ramp be installed, I just requested for the curb to be repaired but I know the city has the authority to install a handicap accessible sidewalk. So far the city has only done damage to my property since it has not been completed, there are chunks of dirt, rocks and other debris that are in the way of the lawn service that can damage their equipment or damage other people's property if rocks are thrown by mowers toward structures, windows or vehicles. If you want to dictate what the city does with this property maybe your family should not have sold it. If the City of Huntsville or See, Click, Fix has an issue with the way I opened these reports I will be happy to do it differently.
Thank you for reporting your service request to the City of Huntsville. We are closing your request at this time but the Public Works Service Department has a plan in place to install handicap ramps at this location in the near future. If you need further assistance, please let us know.
The handicap ramp has already been installed, it's the curb along the sidewalk that needs to be finished. As the owner/landlord of 15 Atherton Circle I am required/obligated to keep the property safe, clean, and in good repair/good condition. Not only am I required/obligated to do that, I also want to do this for my tenants who pay to live there. Someone called me this morning and said it would be finished as soon as possible. I'd also like to clarify that although the sprinklers were repaired to my satisfaction it was not done on 7-8-2017 as someone stated above, 7-8-2017 was last weekend and I only made the request to close it last weekend because they had already been repaired long enough that the city could close that ticket.
