This house used to be occupied by a group of young musicians who, while loud, didn't cause any problems. New tenants moved in (although possibly squatters) in November 2016 and within the first month needles and an insane amount of straws covered the sidewalk (including used needles in our trash), loud fighting and pounding on the door late at night usually between 12am-4am with people going in and out, and lots of vomiting (common in optiate use) heard inside and in the alley out back at all hours. Ambulances have come a number of times and since their move in, I have noticed a lot more activity on the block by individuals who are clearly on some drug. The residents of the house are two mid 40s men and one/possibly two younger girls in their 20s. I have since moved, but want to make neighbors aware of the increased activity since their arrival as they may be squatting and have contributed to the deteriorating safety of the 1200 block. After sending an anonymous message about the needles to the police back in Dec, I haven't seen as many but not much else has changed. I met the property owner's cousin prior to their move in, between tenants, and it seemed legit (ish) but who knows.
