Description

The traffic light cycles at the intersection of Central/William/Main have suddenly changed in the last week or so.

The westbound traffic on William Street now gets a triple red light cycle. I've never seen this before at any other intersection. In other words, the traffic the other way, south bound on Central street, gets two green lights in a row.

This is causing further problems --

The southbound traffic on Main street that's turning left with a green light now hits an immediate red light at William (this was always green in the past) -- causing this turning traffic to back up on to Main Street.

Were these lights changed to have this pattern on purpose?

They make no sense as currently configured and are causing traffic issues. Can this please be fixed and returned to normal operation?

Thanks.
