Thank you for reporting this issue. This issue has been assigned to Inspectional Services to address as soon as possible. An update will be posted as information becomes available.
Thank you once again for bringing this issue to our attention. An exterior sanitary inspection took place on 7/25/17. Violations found at time of inspection; citation issued. This report will be closed. However, reported issue will remain active internally with follow-up ISD exterior property inspections.
I am failing to see how an inspection closes an issue when clearly there is still garbage, glass and weeds everywhere. And as of this morning, a hopping cart.
The reported issue and property has been added to our internal ISD database. While it will be closed in SeeClickFix, the reported issue remains active internally with follow-up ISD exterior sanitary inspections until the property is brought into compliance.
When an issue is reported and code violations found, ISD works toward having the property owner resolve non-compliant issues. At times, voluntary compliance is not achieved. When efforts fail for the property owner to bring the property into compliance voluntarily, ISD will continue to move forward within the pre-established 40U Ordinance.
What is the 40U ordinance? And how long does the city wait until it's established they're not complying? I don't understand how it's so difficult to ask for a street and sidewalk to be cleaned
