Second this complaint. The neighbors have brought this issue up multiple times and it has not been resolved. It is a health and safety issue for those sharing the street with this home.
7/20/17- This property is being monitored by the Health Department for mosquitos and overgrowth. A significant amount of overgrown vegetation has been cleared since we first received the complaint and the pool is being treated with chlorine to prevent mosquito larva formation. It is my understanding that the property is being held up from demolishment due to NJDEP or USEPA flood regulations put in place after hurricane Sandy. The Health Department cannot address issues relating to the demolishment and can only monitor the vegetative growth and stagnant water. A re-inspection of the pool condition will be done tomorrow 7/21/17.
7/21/17- Little to no mosquito larva was present in the pool when inspected however, more chlorine was added to prevent the formation of larva. This property will continue to be monitored by the Health Dept. until all approvals are given to move forward with demolishment.
