What is use of this website when all we do is point fingers and PASS THE BUCK. After complaining here of the smell of rotting rodents and feces..I was surprised that the health dept had no notice or info on complaint..

This is like a hot potato and nobody cares where it ends up as long as they are not left holding it..

As usual in such cases, the solution lies at the top, not the bottom. Some at City Hall think that giving people a place to complain keeps them satisfied, and no further action is needed. Some city agencies (mostly the largest, biggest budget ones) think that they are too important to need, nor to care to read about the problems of simple citizens -- they KNOW WHAT WE NEED. Some City Council Members don't even believe that individual citizens' problems are their concern.
We need a City Council resolution ordering ALL agency heads to read SeeClickFix and report publicly on actions taken. Now, let's hold our breath until we see that happen.

Raising the questions:
1. How would anyone guess that reporting an obvious health problem was police business.
2. Why can't the Police Department log onto SeeClickFix and find relevant postings.
3. What have any of that to do with the fact that no one at City Hall forwarded the SeeClickFix posting to the Health Department.
Seems to me that SeeClickFix is working fine, the citizens are doing their part reporting problems, but that (some) city agencies are shirking their responsibility to stay in touch with what's going on.
