Description
Heading north from the stop sign at 8th and Hanover people seem to think it's a drag race. In the span of a block I estimate people are topping 50mph in this residential area, including police. Almost every single house on both sides of this street has a child under the age of 10. The entire block feels trapped in their own house afraid to let their children out due to the high speed traffic. There have been several accidents on this block alone in just the last few months including a car colliding into a house. Please enforce the speed limit here and add a stop sign or speed bumps.

Here here! This is gotten out of control. Even coming in the other direction towards that intersection people come barreling over the top of the hill just to slam on their brakes at the stop sign.
And yes, police too.

Here is a novel idea , KEEP YOUR KIDS OUT OF THE STREET!!!!!. Second problem , you are not a calibrated speed timing device. So what you FEEL is an unsafe speed or a speed violation , in fact may NOT be. ...
Instead of showing everyone how ridiculous you are by complaining HERE, maybe you would address your concerns to the proper authorities...

Face reality there sunshine ..... .... Do you HONESTLY think the police are going to monitor traffic due to a click it or fix it complaint ? You may get more effect by placing complaints through the PROPER channels... IE Boro meetings , talk to the Police department and other logical channels .....
You kids do not belong playing in the street. So that should never be an issue to begin with.

Serously dude, let it go. No one ever said children were playing in the street. Learn to read and comprehend before posting.
Secondly, a number of us have gone to the boro. We have made a petition for a stop sign. And the police have been contacted.
Lastly, I can voice my opinion anywhere I want. It's what I fought for and is my inherited right. And not you or anyone else is going to tell me different.
