Since this property has won those awards, it's obviously safety compliant. Too, they do a good job removing any dead vegetation which could be the only 'stuff' on this property that's a fire hazard. Some very pretty flowering bushes, trees. Simply because it's different than other properties, is no reason to pick from the air a reason to publicly trash. Leave the property be.

I have lived directly next door to this home for eight years. I'm deeply offended by the ignorance of this complaint/concern. My neighbors are responsible property owners. Their property is well maintained and not once since I have lived here have the words "fire hazard" crossed my mind. While we may have different styles, I appreciate my neighbors' dedication to their Florida landscape. I find something beautiful every time I am fortunate enough to enter their award winning yard.

We have lived across the street for over 20 years. We appreciate the hard work that goes into creating this garden. We get to benefit from the butterflies and birds who also enjoy this oasis.

We are the neighbors immediately to the west of the property in question on 26th Ave. N. Contrary to the complaint, we have no concern Apparently our neighbor registering this complaint lacks appreciation and understanding of the "Florida Friendly" yard. It is no more prone to fire than the neatly manicured versions preferred by others. This particular yard is regularly maintained with no buildup of debris present. As for the "tall vegetation", one would be hard pressed to find a yard in the area with nothing but 3" lawn. Let's focus on the important stuff, shall we?
