I agree. This corner is very dangerous. A driver of a vehicle needs to creep out into the intersection to see if anything/anyone is coming. The plants are so dense, you can not see through them. This is a safety issue! Who will be responsible when there is an accident? Fine, the owners/renters are proud...but watch the drivers of the cars on your corner. It is an accident waiting to happen.

Harassment? Agreeing with a comment does not constitute harassment. The people who run stop signs have nothing to do with this conversation...oh wait...other than to EMPHASIZE the fact that VISIBILITY on this corner is a MUST, so, thank you for that sir! If the plants have become an issue in the past six months, perhaps that should be a clue that the PLANTS are an issue. Perhaps to some folks, avoiding your corner is not an option. Have you noticed there are other homes on that block? This is about safety sir. I should think a home owner/renter would not wish to pose a hazzard. Perhaps I am mistaken. Good day!

Oh. I am sorry. I did not realize that I have to be a neighbor to drive on your street or comment on a public safety issue. Thank you so much for putting this all in perspective for me! Safety first!

Overgrown mess? Will spends a ton of time in his garden keeping things in order. We all enjoy different types of gardens and being that we do not live in a deed restricted neighborhood he can choose to plant whatever floats his boat. As he said, he already spoke with the inspector and kept at his guidelines.

Will Johnson is a beloved Gardening Guru to many of us in the Central Oak Park Neighborhood. And he's often asked by neighbors and acquaintances if they can tour his lovely gardens. He's also very knowledgeable about the code compliance requirements for the corner viewing angles for motorists, because he's met with the assigned Compliance Officer more than once as a result of these repetitive complaints. It's appears that someone is waging complaints based on their own personal preferences and with a disregard for what the codes truly are. Whatever happened to talking through things with one's neighbor? Whomever is repeatedly complaining seems to be abusing the See Click Fix process and wasting public resources in my humble opinion.
