Perhaps it would help if there were public restrooms in downtown New Haven. I am one of the homeless people to whom you are referring and I would rather not urinate in my pants. The only public restrooms are in city hall and Ives Library. After they are closed, there is no place to "take a leak" without purchasing something from a store. Do I really make you feel unsafe? Did I make you feel unsafe while I was in the military fighting in the middle east? Please don't ever leave the U.S. We wouldn't want people in other countries to believe there are Americans who are so small minded.
