Description
There is a trash can dedicated to pet waste collection on the CRA Depot Ave-Downtown Connector rail trail that runs between Campus View and Wildflower apartments, just east of the Helyx (DNA) Bridge. The waste is overflowing onto the ground, due to the trash not being emptied for weeks. It's great that people are doing the right thing and cleaning up after their dogs, but some entity needs to regularly collect the bagged dog poo. I believe this is the CRA's domain. Hope someone can clean up the mess soon.

Eleven days to take care of this?

Good day all - I'm late to this conversation but received an email from Ms. Gill today (8/16/17). I promised to follow up and have the trash removed by close of business today. CRA was the developer of the trail but it's currently maintained by Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs. We're working together to get the issue resolved today. Also, I communicated this reply via email to Ms. Gill along with the City Manager's office and City Commissioner's office - who were also included on her email.

Closing this issue as I received confirmation that PRCA staff has emptied the trash (see attached photo). That container is set to be emptied every Friday. For future reference, Depot Park Ambassadors are managing the waste along the rail-trail. Cindi Harvey, Depot Park Manager, is the primary contact for future issues.
