I concur. It is not at all clear for drivers on Kittredge and approaching Oaks whether they are to yield (they should) or whether they have the right of way.

I would support a Yield sign which would be helpful in the morning when the nursery school parents are dropping off at Happy Hollow School

This is a matter that could be brought before the Traffic and Roadway Safety Committee. They are an advisory committee to the Board of Selectmen and discuss matters such as parking, signage, etc.

The meeting is tentatively set for Wednesday, September 13th, 2017. Usually around 7pm. I'll post here when i receive confirmation.

Hello all, the meeting is indeed set for September 13. Unfortunately, I now have a conflict. I can ask to table the motion until the following meeting, October 11. I am not overly eloquent and don't know that I should be the one presenting this notion. That said, I will still happily do so. If you all would like to speak to the motion in my absence, I can ask for the TRSC to keep the motion going for September 13. What do you all think? Phil? Jack?

Oh, I should also mention that I spoke to Happy Hollow school and they were thrilled that this motion was being put forth. They feel that it is a dangerous intersection and witness cars enter Oaks Rd without slowing down all the time. So, they wholeheartedly approve.

Hi Joe. I just remembered (sorry I had forgotten!) about tonight's meeting. I have a Parks and Rec Commission mtg at the same time. (and t turns out two other places is should be!!!!)

Yep, I'll be there. It is indeed logical. While I was taking photos of the intersection for this meeting, someone drove right through without stopping. I was able to catch it on video. So, there's that.
