Odd placement of signage.

We are going to forward it to the Codes Department for the junk/outdoor storage and to Neighborhood Transportation for clarification on the "No Parking Signs." I would LOVE to have those NO PARKING signs on SE Lincoln Circle! People park in the street all of the time and there is not enough room for cars to pass. Not too mention that cars park on BOTH sides of the street on Manchester and SE Lincoln Circle...at the corner. It makes navigating those roads almost impossible!

I would agree with every thing here with the exception of the city workers leaving trash, I am in a position to view activity in this lot many hours per day, the trash is mainly left by the homeless etc. hanging out in the lot.

When I drove past here yesterday the no parking signs were laying on the ground.

Why were these signs placed in the first place? People only park there for short periods of time while they go into the surrounding establishments.

The signs were repaired on 8/22/17

Why were these signs placed there? I see no issue with people parking along this area.

No Parking Anytime signs were placed on the south-west side of Southeast Boulevard through the vacant lot in order to keep access / egress open and unobstructed for vehicles entering and exiting to and from the intersection, as well as to and from the plaza on the opposite side of the street.

What intersection are you talking about here? There is no intersection here. Are you talking about vehicles entering and exiting the vacant lot? They would be tresspassing if they are entering the lot. It is posted no tresspassing. These signs are absurd. They only serve to force people to park and clog up residential streets with boats and trailers with loud talking in the early morning hours. More wasted time and resources by an engineer that has no business working for our city.

I completely agree with this reply. It is to the benefit of the plaza that people be allowed to park there. Why are we wasting my tax dollars on signs that don't serve any benefits?
