Description

This entire block is a mess. There are temp. patches over holes that return within a month of the repair. The problem lies under the cement that is under the tar. Last year the city wasted money digging only the tar and repaved. They need to dig underneth and get to root of problem before the buses shake our houses down.

There is a real nasty one going up N 27th from brown to Parrish that is unavoidable with cars parked on both sides of the road. Someone (hopefully not the city) did a rather poor job trying to fill it with stone, but it is still terrible. With the busses going over it all the time, the stone will never stay in the hole, which is easily large enough for your tire to sink down into when driving over it

The city considers it fixed - I consider it another half a#$ job - the came for the 3rd time isn 3 months last Thursday night - It already is sinking it and ahs 2 holes. So much for fixed.

This is pretty amazing. Last week (Friday?) the team was out there "fixing" the 26th street pothole. Digging out cobblestones, adding new asphalt, closing the street. Today, it's just as bad as ever--new holes and depressions. What's going on? This is about the third time it's been "fixed" with subpar repairs in the last few weeks--but the holes appear within days!

I would love to have the head of the Streets Dept come to Brown St and see this mess. With the economy in the state you think they would do it right and save some money. They were out this week slopped some tar down, bus comes up sinks right in, new hole. Hope they don't get a good contract - don't earn it.

This is fixed about as good as we are going to get. My house still shakes when the buses come up and hit the stupid repair bumbs. I give up on getting a good job.
