Description

58th St N ditches junction with Miles Creek at 33rd Ave N. Miles Creek flows westbound going under 66th St N curving northward into Joe's Creek just west of 66th St at 40th Ave N. Joe's Creek empties into Cross Bayou. Miles Creek banks are gradually sliding into creek and there is much foliage and trees holding it together. Slow movement of water flow contributes to neighborhood flooding. The City should consider converting Miles Creek to a concrete viaduct to carry 4-6 times the water and also to serve as more water holding potential. See sample photo.
