JS,
From the picture it appears the debris/ basketball net is blocking the sidewalk causing folks to walk in the street. I have small children and I don't believe the city would allow me to set up our swing set in the sidewalk. The owners may not be aware that they need to call Waste Management if they want large items taken away.

JS,
Those who are disabled do not have the ability to "just walk" around an item blocking a sidewalk. If the homeowners have a driveway maybe they should consider playing basketball there...

Be better. Whomever the entitled person is that set that hoop up is selfish and has put themselves above every single other person who may ever walk down that sidewalk. That is a public space, not theirs and forcing someone disabled or small children to have to walk in the street, putting them at risk of death or severe injury is horrible, and rather sad to see that someone on here agrees with that idea. You must not know anyone or have anyone that you care about that has mobility issues. Either way, they do not own the sidewalk and therein are in the wrong and cannot have that blocking the public way. Despite what this'js' person seems to think, it is not their business nor do they have any say/right to ask if someone else is disabled or what the complaint is about. The complaint is valid as it is in violation of a public walkway.
