There is a lot of litter all along Broadway, at the park by the picnic tables, in the street all up and down Broadway. Also can you please tell me the purpose of the street sweeper machine?

The purpose of the street sweeper is to remove dirt and debris from the street, curb and gutter to keep it from getting into the storm drain system, which flows out to the bay. While the street sweeper may catch a few pieces of litter here and there, the intent of street sweeping is not to vacuum our streets clean of litter.
