I agree. there is way too much traffic and cut thru and street parking going on in such a small, narrow area. Plus the garbage and moving trucks in and out. Plus pedestrians and hotel guests. A disaster waiting to happen. Needs no parking signs like across the street. plus striping for loading zone--at the very minimum. Thank you.

nothing been done that I can tell--cars still parking there day and night.

correct-no change-still a problem. saw a driver open his curb parked car door while a car passing had to swerve onto sidewalk to miss hitting it. pedestrian walking dog had to jump off the sidewalk for safety.

still an issue as far as I can tell. it could be manageable if they wouldn't pull all the way up to the stop sign at Commerce, which I understand is a city violation. If one is waiting there to pull out on to Commerce, cars can't pull into the street.

Someone has painted red on the curbs just outside the conference center entrance, but nothing yet along the street between the two buildings (artisan and alexan).

Nothing done yet. Saw a car this morning parked 6 inches from the stop sign at Commerce.

This short street is called Montgomery Street on Google maps. Some residents of the Alexan park on this street to avoid using the parking deck. I have often observed residents parking there and entering the Alexan by the side door off this street. As stated above, cars sometimes even park over the pedestrian crossing area right up next to the stop sign at Commerce Drive. See the photos I post in the next comments (can only post one photo per comment). In one photo, a garbage truck hardly has room to load and must block the whole street while loading.

that is correct- still free parking - causing constant vehicle problems. There are even cars backing out onto busy Commerce to get out of the way from trucks coming in the opposite direction.

Nothing done as of May 15th, 2018. Another car blocking the crosswalk on Monday (5/14/18). Not a good situation.

Near miss accidents happen several times a day. With cars parked there is no way for traffic to use the street from both directions. a bad hazard. It has been over a year with nothing done to easily fix. All that is needed are no parking signs.

I initially reported this situation on August 17th, 2017 and nothing has been done to stop/prevent a dangerous situation. Guess See, click, fix and/or the city is more worried about a limb sticking out into a sidewalk or a missed recycling container. I surrender--

No Parking have now been placed along the street. Seem to be working.
