The lights at this intersection allowing traffic flow access from the bridge to the highways and vice versa are too short, causing a traffic backup during rush hour. Traffic could significantly be alleviated if the green lights in this direction (NE/SW) were extended even by only 15 seconds. If the length of the bridge is the determining factor, then turn the bridge light green 5 to 10 seconds prior to the highway greens.
