I'm a bit confused, then, why in the past few weeks, I and many other drivers I've seen go over the tracks find ourselves having to brake and slow down to avoid the potholes when we never had to before. This is the talk of all of my colleagues who travel this way twice a day. Why should we have to change our route? Fix the road to restore it to its previous condition! What do we pay taxes for??
agreed, i always slow down significantly before crossing those tracks. i wonder how many shocks and struts had to be relaced due to the town's negligence...
I drive a 2001 Altima that needs a new alternator, I hate coffee, and my wife carries our cell phone. It is also not a bump, but a series of holes, both large and small. For those of us not driving "status symbol" cars, we tend to drive carefully as to not break our shocks or struts because they are expensive. Please take your nonsensical complaining and go elsewhere with it, as this forum is about making the authorities aware of problems in our community.

I'm not sure if the old train has been out lately, but I know that tears up the pavement.
I'll be sure to notify DPW
