Description

These weeds are getting to the point of seeding. This area had a water main break in January. then was not fixed until I reported it five months later. They then came and fixt the dirt, then fixed the curb. They did not plant grass and these sprouted and have grown to four feet tall. Is it the homeowner problem or the City?
I would say the City should have at least planted grass initially.
Wont' be long, the weeds will seed and contaminate the area.
The weeds stalks will be tough to remove. It should have been taken care of a long time ago.

this property is not blighted, this is a mistake on the part of the city. I feel sorry for the people who live in the house. If the city would expect it to be taken care of they should have contacted the homeowner.
This should be corrected by the contractor who back filled the dirt.

No action has been taken, at least visible to the public. It looks worse now of course.
Again, I ask, how was it addressed.
I have reported items like this before and been told they will be taken care of only to find out they have not. Then I have to waste my time logging back on to re-open the issue. If you have a plan and a date set to have this fixed please acknowledge that.
Otherwise it seems as though you say it is closed only to clear it from the system.
I see this place everyday and will obviously know when it is done.

the property owner at this location specifically requested to place his own grass seed. The contractor did not place seed at the property owners request. we will be out to remove the weeds and place the city mix seed. If you have further concerns call 368-2434 and ask for John.
