NO dipsh*t, the construction company is required to maintain traffic flow while they work, so they would pay for it. Twelve cycles of the signal is far too long and the a**holes who moved here from Staten Island can't find their way to the parkway any other way but Lloyd Road.

The way our government works to better itself is through complaints, otherwise nothing changes unless citizens speak up. How is the "issue" getting fixed? Traffic will continue to be terrible for the years of construction that was publicly stated as the length of the project. Why should people have to spend so much time sitting idle at a light that could be overridden and clear out traffic fast? Keep your stupid flip comments to yourself and don't read the complaints anymore if you can't tolerate them!

There are alternatives around in in the meantime, Route 79/516 to Main or Broad St. Mil Rd, Reids Hill, Van Brackle, Line Rd, Cambridge Dr. even weaving through the 'I" section of Strathmore. If you're going to travel that intersection any time during rush hour or weekend fternoons, plan your ay around it. Might as well spend your 5-10 minutes driving and exploring that staring at the car in front of you...
