Description

I know they are working on Lincoln st and debris in the water started a few days ago, but it is still dirty. Right now my 6 month home water filters are getting completely clogged to the point where the water pressure drops, in just two days. Filters cost eight dollars each, at this rate if the water is going to be like this throughout the construction, it's going to cost a lot of money for me to keep replacing these filters. Looking at what's on the filter, I do not want unfiltered water to be coming into my house. Can we get the hydrants flushed again on Bond Street, maybe that'll help a little bit with the stuff that's in the water. Otherwise I'd like to deduct the amount I'm spending on water filters from my water bill. Other people on Bond Street are experiencing the same thing.

My water not right at 10 Bond Street also please correct did excessive outside watering and still has brown tinge to it, please re flush hydrants to clean up, thank you.

As you well know we have an extensive water main project occurring on Lincoln St., and quite often, due to the work on being done, sometimes the surrounding areas can be affected. We did have to directly shut down the main on Bond St. a little over a week ago, which definitely may have caused dirty water, however we tried to flush the hydrant as much as possible so it would clear up. As far as we knew it was all set, however it is possible that it didn't clear up 100%. If you are still experiencing the same issues, please let us know and we will send someone up as soon as we can to try and correct this. Otherwise if we don't hear back from you, we will assume the problem has been corrected. Thank you so much for bringing this issue to light, and we apologize for the delayed response!!!

Today from tap, 10 bond street I know when you shut off water to hookup ice development 6 months +- ago mine was still bad until other hydrant was flushed person from city then said needed to be done as my water never was going to clean up, thank you
