Hi Rob, sorry about my tent. I used to sleep on the New Haven Green, but the NHPD has stopped that from happening although there is no ordinance prohibiting it. The NHPD told me they are referring to the laws governing Connecticut state parks. The New Haven Green is not a state park, but I would rather not have to go to court to fight against it. Being a U.S. Navy veteran, I thought it would be appropriate to sleep not far from a monument dedicated to soldiers and sailors. The horrible mess you saw was left there by other people. If you would like to discuss this, please come and see me. I'm not there during most of the day, but I can meet you anywhere. This invitation is sincere and not threatening. I always enjoy talking with people, but because of my personal appearance, virtually nobody will talk to me.
