Thank you for your report. We have a significant backlog and it will be acknowledged when inspected by our Urban Forester. Please note, this inspection can in some instances take several months to be scheduled. Based on the determined hazard the trim or removal can take months or years thereafter. For more information visit http://www.cityofnewhaven.com/gov/depts/parks/trees.htm
The posting on the tree June 1st was a notice for public comment which is a ten day period. Once the public comment period has ended the tree is added to our workload. Unfortunately, there is a significant backlog - trees are addressed by the level of hazard in the order that they were received. Unfortunately, due to weather, accidents and other changes to the condition of trees our worklog changes daily as the hazards change so unfortunately we can not give estimates as to when work will be completed.
We are closing this request due to its historic nature. If this concern still requires attention and you still believe SeeClickFix is a viable tool for its resolution the best way for it to be addressed is for you to create a new request including a current description of what is occurring and what solution you hope to see regarding this matter, citing/linking this request in the details. Thank you for your dedication to improving the quality of life in our community.
