I am the original creator of this issue. The rather large dip of broken up street is still at the corner of 18th and JFK. in the left lane. Also, the big dip in the left lane of 18th just after the light at Market seems to have gotten a bit deeper. Many vehicles are coming to a quick stop or swerving to avoid the hole.

There is urgent need for this intersection to be repaired. I have twisted my knee several times because of the unevenness of this street. Someone is really going to get hurt if it is not repaired soon.

Rather than fixing this, they have torn up the cement and put up barricades that block the whole left lane at the light. This leads to huge backups through the light at 18th and Market since all of the rush hour traffic tries to jam into one lane! People crossing 18th are having to walk around this mess. It's been several months...is this the best that the city can do with our tax money?
