Thank you for contacting the City regarding this matter. The City is aware that certain parts along the Bayfront have narrow sidewalk due to obstructions by utilities such as street light/traffic poles, fire hydrants, sign poles, etc. This poses a problem for people, especially with disability access needs. We have been and will continue to evaluate sidewalks access along the Bayfront and look into future projects to address the issue. The City has recently completed Phase 1 of the Bayfront ADA Improvements Project. We will note this location as one to be included in future improvements.
