Why is there no action on this issue? Sign violations are generally reported to the BUILDING DEPARTMENT. Why is this sitting in the mayor's office?

We have about 8,745 violations for signs that we just cleared. So I will check this sign out for you personally and resolve this matter today. Make note; Mayors Office should be overseeing everything and anything before anyone. The problem is they're too busy looking at themselves in the mirror and stealing as much from us as they possibly can before they must go because noone wants to have that crew running anything anymore. They can't even stand up for themselves-- SO THEY CONTACTED ME;X

Is it time to apply fines to many of these code violations in an attempt to lessen the number of repeat offenders and scofflaws?
